JP Clausen currently serves as Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Sustainability at General Motors, leading a workforce of approximately 165,000 across 13 countries. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering for Data Center Advanced Technology Innovation at Google, where JP focused on renewable energy solutions, and Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at Zymergen, Inc., where JP developed advanced materials. Prior experience includes a pivotal role at Tesla in launching Gigafactory 1 and enhancing production rates for electric vehicles, as well as various leadership positions at LEGO Group, overseeing manufacturing strategies and product innovation. JP Clausen holds a Master's in MMT Innovation & Technology, a Diploma in Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor's in Engineering Production, all from prominent universities in Denmark.
