Shubham Jawlekar is an Assistant Manager - Legal at General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) since December 2021 and the Founder & Editor of Legal Appear since August 2020. Shubham has previously worked as a Legal Associate at Khandeparkar & Associates and completed internships at various law firms, including Advocate Amin Solkar, Justice Revati Mohite Dere, J.S.Kini & Associates, and Suresh Chandrashekhar & Associates, where responsibilities included assisting in court proceedings, legal research, and drafting legal documents. Shubham holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Government Law College, Mumbai, along with a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics.
