Peter Shaw is a highly experienced Mechanical Systems Engineer with a strong background in landing gear systems across multiple platforms. Currently leading the landing gear engineering team at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since April 2014, Peter is responsible for new designs, upgrades, and diverse testing processes for various unmanned aircraft, including the MQ-1 Predator A and MQ-9 Predator B. Prior roles include significant contributions at Northrop Grumman and Hawker Beechcraft, where Peter managed key subsystems for advanced military aircraft and spearheaded design efforts for landing gear and flap systems. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Product Development Engineering from the University of Southern California.
