Jared Carnes is a CFD Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since April 2022, with a robust background in aerospace engineering research and applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from May 2018 to September 2022, where Jared contributed to multiple projects under the Pennsylvania State University Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence, focusing on turbulence modeling and rotor performance simulations. Notable achievements comprise developing sophisticated transition models, conducting studies on boundary-layer transition, and teaching undergraduate research assistants.
