Javi Calderon is a seasoned UX design professional with extensive experience in instructional roles and content strategy. Currently serving as the Lead Instructor for the UX Design Immersive at General Assembly since June 2018, Javi contributes as a Distinguished Faculty member and a UX Product Advisory Board member, facilitating course instruction and curriculum design. Previously, as a Self-employed UX/Visual Design Consultant, Javi collaborated with various agencies and startups across numerous design disciplines. Javi's prior roles include Content Strategist and Content Marketing Manager at Real Magnet, where focus included aligning content strategy with user goals and optimizing engagement through data analysis. Additionally, Javi has a background in content marketing and writing, having produced a wide range of content for B2B and B2C clients. Javi holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Florida and completed educational training at General Assembly.
