Katie Brown is a seasoned professional in analytics and operations with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Sr Director of Platform Analytics at Generac since October 2024, Katie has held multiple leadership roles at SunPower Corporation from 2007 to 2024, including Senior Director of Analytics & Remote Operations and Director of Applications Engineering. Previous experience includes a position as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and roles at PowerLight Corporation and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where Katie managed government contracts and led research projects. Academically, Katie holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and advanced degrees in Engineering & Technology Management and Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines.
