Janaka Subotnik is a Community Programs Specialist at Generac Power Systems since June 2021, responsible for planning and managing employee volunteer opportunities and coordinating educational engagement initiatives. Previously, Janaka served as a Community Programs Intern at Generac, aiding in corporate giving and community engagement efforts while creating internal communications and social media content. Experience includes a role as a photographer for the School District of Waukesha, capturing events for marketing purposes, and a Special Events and Marketing Intern at the Waukesha Education Foundation, where Janaka supported scholarship initiatives and collaborated on various events. Janaka's early career includes working as a Summer Camp Assistant, supervising elementary school students. Janaka holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Carroll University, completed in 2022, and a high school diploma from Waukesha West High School.
