Mfoniso Ekong currently serves as Managing Director for the Northwestern Mutual Black Founder Accelerator at gener8tor, focusing on investing $100K in Black entrepreneurs within fintech, insurtech, digital health, and data analytics. Additionally, Mfoniso holds the position of Managing Director at gBETA, a program selecting up to five companies annually from various verticals for a competitive seven-week mentorship. Prior roles include Senior Director and Program Director at gBETA, along with serving as a Council Member at NationSwell and Researcher at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Mfoniso's career began as a Research Fellow at the Argosy Foundation and AmeriCorps VISTA. Mfoniso earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Benedictine University.
