Sebastian Dunn is a seasoned professional in software development and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Geneious Prime Team Lead at Geneious since February 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing the development team to meet the needs of scientific research. Additionally, Sebastian is the Founder and Director of Double Blind Studios, an Auckland-based game studio focused on creating accessible and educational games. Previous roles include Lead Software Engineer at DEPT®, Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Two Bulls/DEPT®, Research Assistant at The University of Auckland, and Software Developer at Biomatters, contributing significantly to projects like the CRISPR guide finding tool. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from The University of Auckland, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, and a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Auckland.
