George Church is an advisor at GenEdit, a previous Colossal Biosciences company. George has also worked for companies such as digiD8, eGenesis, Inc., Editas Medicine, Genome Compiler Corp. (TwistBio), Genia Corp., Gen9, Inc., Intelligent Bio-Systems, and Harvard Medical School. George has made many contributions to the field of bioscience and is highly respected in the community.

George Church received a PhD in Art / Photography from the University of South Florida. George also received a High School diploma in Science and Computer Science from Phillips Andover. George later received a PhD in Biochemistry from Harvard University. After that, they pursued a career in Microbiology & Biochemistry at Duke University and Quantum Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. George also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Zoology from Duke University and a certification from the CITI Program in Mandatory PHS Required Training on Research Conflicts of Interest at Harvard Medical School.
