Mari MacDonald is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as a Project Manager at Groundwater Environmental Management Services (GEMS) since December 2021. Prior to this role, Mari worked as an Environmental Scientist at Terrapex Environmental Ltd. from July 2018 to November 2021 and gained experience as an Environmental Assessment Group Technician at GHD in 2017. Earlier career experiences include positions in capital markets at CIBC and a lifeguard and camp counselor role at Olympia Sports Camp. Mari began the professional journey as a ski instructor at Rusutsu Resort Ski School in 2012. Mari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Western University, obtained between 2014 and 2018, and graduated with a High School Diploma from Hong Kong International School in 2014.
