David Clifton is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher of History and Global Politics at GEMS Education since August 2023. Prior to this, David worked at Ark from September 2014 to August 2023, where roles included Teacher of History, Head of Year, and Head of House, alongside serving as Assistant Head of Year. David began as a Trainee Teacher of History with Cambridge Education Group from June 2008 to May 2013, and also held positions as an Activity Organiser at Desert Divers from September 2010 to July 2011, contributing to experiences in Dahab, South Sinai. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Global History from Birkbeck, University of London, a PGCE in Secondary Education from Canterbury Christ Church University, and a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent.
