Rik Heiner is a professional in the field of architecture and urban planning, currently serving as a Vergunningverlener bouw at Gemeente Westerkwartier since January 2024 and as a Gemeenteraadslid for VVD Groningen since March 2022, focusing on spatial planning, traffic, sports, and sustainability. Prior experience includes an architectural position at 12WAT architecten bna from October 2022 to October 2023 and an internship at Zeinstra Veerbeek Architecten, where research concentrated on constructing a concept home using CLT materials. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Architecture from the Academie van Bouwkunst Groningen and a Bachelor in Built Environment with a major in Bouwkunde from Hanze University, supplemented by two minors in Architectural Design and Construction & Infrastructure Entrepreneurship.
