Peter Rood has extensive experience in project leadership and advisory roles focused on soil and groundwater management. Currently, as Projectleider "The Dutch" at Gemeente West Betuwe, Peter Rood leads initiatives to find sustainable solutions for steel slags on a new development area linked to a golf course. In addition, Peter Rood serves as procesmanager at Provincie Noord-Holland, aiming to establish a new covenant for area-oriented groundwater management by 2020, and as projectleider for area-oriented groundwater management at Gemeente Woerden. Peter Rood operates as a Freelance Adviseur specializing in soil and groundwater management since 2015. Previous roles include advising on complex soil contamination for Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaalgebied and serving as Senior Adviseur at Royal HaskoningDHV. Peter Rood's academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Universiteit van Antwerpen and an engineering degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
