Johannes Nicolai has extensive experience in both horticulture and community service, currently serving as the coordinator for rouwdiensten and team leader of the rouwteam at Vrije Baptistengemeente Bethel since February 2016. In addition, Johannes has been working as a hovenier at Gemeente Tytsjerksteradiel since February 1995, where responsibilities include pruning and maintaining municipal greenery, as well as performing duties as a grave digger at the municipal cemetery. Johannes' educational background includes agrarian studies at Aoc agrarisch onderwijs from 1982 to 1986.
