Katinka Vriends has extensive experience in public health and policy, currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker at Gemeente Terneuzen since January 2009, focusing on public health, social care, and disability policy. Prior roles include Project Leader for rVTV Zeeland and researcher for preventive health research for the elderly at GGD Zeeland from December 2006 to January 2009, as well as Project Leader for a stakeholder advocacy initiative at Stichting ouderenwerk Breda between 2004 and 2006. Earlier career highlights at GG&GD Utrecht from 1992 to 2004 include various positions in epidemiological research, population screening coordination, quality assurance, and policy development. Katinka Vriends holds a Master's degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht and completed Gymnasium at Juvenaat Heilig Hart in Bergen op Zoom.
