Annemarie Arens has extensive experience in various roles focused on policy development and legal consultancy within the Dutch municipal sector. Since October 2000, Annemarie has served at Gemeente Terneuzen in senior positions related to environmental and economic policy, societal development, and project leadership, contributing to significant initiatives such as the implementation of the new Omgevingswet. Prior experience includes roles at Gemeente Hulst and Gemeente Axel with responsibilities spanning legal advising, planning, and administrative support. Annemarie's education includes diplomas in Volkshuisvesting, spatial planning, and environmental studies from Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg, as well as diplomas in economic administration and secondary education.
