Jan Meijdam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy, urban planning, and health advisement. Currently serving as a Senior Beleidsadviseur at Gemeente Rotterdam since September 2016, Jan focuses on public health initiatives, particularly the "Rookvrije generatie" program. Previously, Jan held a position at GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond as a Senior Advisor, specializing in creating healthy urban environments. Jan's background includes project management roles and leadership positions across various organizations, including DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond and Meijdam Stedenbouw Consultancy. An academic with a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Design from Delft University of Technology, Jan has also contributed to higher education as a guest lecturer.
