Ietje Baars has a diverse professional background in the field of youth care and education. Currently serving as a Senior policy advisor at Gemeente Roosendaal, Ietje has previously held strategic policy advisor roles at Gemeente Bergen op Zoom and program coordinator roles at Gemeente Goes. With a strong focus on youth care, education, and social domain transformation, Ietje has also gained experience in project management and collaboration initiatives. Prior to their government roles, Ietje worked as a team leader in residential care at Stichting de Zuidwester Jeugdzorg and started their career as a Maatschappelijk werker. Throughout their career, Ietje has consistently demonstrated a commitment to supporting and advocating for youth and families in need.
