Luke Vredeveld is a seasoned professional in urban planning and management, currently serving as the Manager of the Cluster Ruimte at Gemeente Ridderkerk since January 2024, overseeing four teams across various domains including real estate, urban development, and sustainability. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Luke previously managed the Cluster Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling at the BAR-organisatie from January 2020 to December 2023 and contributed to the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf as an expert in real estate and infrastructure. An active member of Breda University of Applied Sciences since June 2009 as a committed academy member, Luke also has a rich background in project management and urban design from earlier positions at BRO and advisory work for Stichting Steengoed Goirle. Luke holds a B.Sc. in Urban Planning from Avans University of Applied Sciences and a Professional Master in Strategy and Leadership in Public Administration from Bestuursacademie Nederland.
