Marjolein Verburgh currently serves as a Beleidsmedewerker Jeugd en Onderwijs at Gemeente Oisterwijk since March 2023. Previously, Marjolein held the position of Wetenschappelijk onderzoeker en docent at Amsterdam UMC from May 2018 to September 2022, focusing on research topics related to women, menopause, health, and social inequality. Marjolein's experience also includes roles as a Publieksbegeleider at De Balie and a Wetenschappelijk onderzoeker during an internship at Windesheim Lectorate ICT care innovations, where the research project centered on visual communication in mental health care. Additional positions include serving as a bestuurslid (secretary) at Skek and a site administrator at Groupon. Marjolein holds a Master of Science in Medical Anthropology and Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from the University of Amsterdam, along with a Propedeuse in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
