Erwin Hemmelder is an experienced project and contract manager with a track record in urban and rural development, held current roles at APPM Management Consultants since June 2007 and as project manager for the Leidse Ring Noord / Willem de Zwijgerlaan project at the Gemeente Leiden since November 2022. Previous positions include project management and contract management roles in various municipalities and regional authorities, such as Gemeente Amsterdam and Provincie Noord-Holland. Hemmelder has extensive experience in overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring technical and financial viability, and facilitating area development with a focus on sustainability and safety. Hemmelder holds an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering and Management from the University of Twente, along with a Bachelor's in Automotive Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
