Melahat Baskaya has extensive experience in social legal services and income consultancy within various municipal organizations. Currently serving as Integraal klantmanager at Gemeente Hengelo since April 2022, Melahat has held multiple roles, including Allround Inkomensconsulent at Daan BV since April 2019 and Gespreksvoerder Participatiewet at Gemeente Barneveld from December 2021 to April 2022. Previous positions include roles at Gemeente Arnhem, Gemeente Almere, BMC Implementatie, Gemeente Zaanstad, Gemeente Amsterdam, Gemeente Den Haag, and Gemeente Soest. Melahat holds a Bachelor of Laws in Sociaal Juridische Dienstverlening from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, completed in 2014, and also attended ROC Midden Nederland from 2004 to 2007.
