Marlies van der Vegte-Terpstra MA is an experienced Adviseur Cultureel Erfgoed at Gemeente Harlingen since April 2019. With a background as Architectuurhistoricus focused on erfgoed and educatie at Het Oversticht from March 2015 to March 2019, Marlies developed educational programs in Cultural Heritage for primary education, conducted monument advisory services, and led various heritage projects. Previous roles include Monumentenadviseur/Erfgoedadviseur at Gemeente Deventer and Projectmedewerker at Steunpunt Erfgoed Drenthe. Marlies holds a Master of Arts in Architectuurgeschiedenis en Monumentenzorg from Utrecht University and additional qualifications in costume design and cultural education.
