Sjako Janse possesses extensive experience in urban management and public works, having served in various managerial roles since February 2002 at Gemeente Hardinxveld-Giessendam. As the Manager fysiek domein, Coördinator ruimtelijke projecten, and Afdelingshoofd Openbare Ruimte en Sport, Sjako has led a department responsible for the development, maintenance, and operations of public spaces and sports facilities. Additionally, from January 2015 to December 2018, Sjako held the position of voorzitter regional crisisorganisatie bevolkingszorg at Bureau Crisisbeheersing Alblasserwaard - Vijfheerenlanden, overseeing population care during emergencies. Previous experience includes coördinator beheer at Gemeente Gorinchem, focusing on the management of roads and utilities, as well as expertise in sewer management and water systems. Sjako's educational background includes a degree in civil engineering from HTS Dordrecht and an earlier diploma from MTS Dordrecht.
