Femke Jongeneelen currently serves as Beleidsadviseur Milieu & Duurzaamheid at Gemeente Gooise Meren and as Beleidsmedewerker Duurzaamheid en Energie at Bender Groep, where responsibilities include developing policy plans and engaging in participatory processes related to sustainability. Previously, Femke held an internship as a Green Finance intern at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, focusing on enhancing awareness of financial institutions' impacts on biodiversity. Femke's earlier experience includes roles as Treasurer and Secretary of the Serious Request Committee at Rode Kruis Studentendesk. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Political Economy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen, along with a minor in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo.
