Matthijs Dwarshuis currently serves as Werkvoorbereider Wegen at Gemeente Eemsdelta since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Ontwerpleider and Junior projectingenieur at Bureau Schmidt from September 2018 to October 2022. Matthijs also undertook an Afstuderen position at Witteveen+Bos, focusing on the Friesestraatweg connection to the western ring road in Groningen and achieving a project grade of 7. Additional experience includes an internship as a supervisor on projects with Provincie Groningen, as well as various technical positions at MUG Ingenieursbureau, both as a project technician and during an internship. Matthijs completed education at NHL Stenden from 2014 to 2018 and at Hanze from 2011 to 2013.
