Marco Hormann is an experienced project leader and manager in spatial development and urban planning, currently working at Gemeente Emmen on the Greenwise Campus Emmen project since September 2022. With a strong background in collaborative redevelopment projects, Hormann has led initiatives for Stichting Woonzorg Nederland and Gemeente Eemsdelta, focusing on the Wiemersheerd area and Het Boegkwartier respectively. Other notable roles include management of area development in Heerenveen and Westerbork, as well as integral investment programs in Delfzijl and Coevorden. Hormann's career spans over two decades in various municipalities and planning firms, supported by an academic background in Biology from Utrecht University.
