Esther Lagendijk is a professional with extensive experience in the field of social work and therapy. Currently serving as a Consulent WMO / beschermd wonen at Gemeente Eemsdelta since May 2021, Esther has held various roles related to WMO consultation at multiple municipalities, including Gemeente Delfzijl, Gemeente Loppersum, and Gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân from 2016 to 2022. Prior to that, Esther worked as a PGB consulent at de ToetsPraktijk and as an Administrative Employee at Achmea, focusing on PGB zorgbeoordeling. Esther also has a background in providing personal support as a PGB zorgverlener at Nationale Hulpgids. With a Bachelor of Arts in Therapies from Stenden University, Esther previously worked as a Dramatherapeut at Accare, applying creative therapies to assist clients in overcoming challenges.
