Andre Groenink is a seasoned financial strategist with extensive experience in public administration and financial advisory roles. Currently serving as a strategic advisor for planning and control at Gemeente Almelo since May 2023, Andre provides strategic financial advice to governance and management while developing financial policies and coordinating planning and control products. With a prior role as senior advisor for planning and control at Gemeente Haaksbergen, Andre coordinated key financial documents and served as a financial advisor for the college and management. An earlier tenure at Gemeente Almelo encompassed various financial advisory responsibilities across multiple departments, including advising on strategic financial dossiers and developing management reports. Additional experience includes financial advisory roles at Regio Twente and project finance management at the University of Twente. Andre holds a degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and has completed a QC program at NIVE.
