Sandi Rail has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Sandi began their career in 2009 as a Waitstaff and Bartender at Outback Jack's Bar and Grill, where they gained experience in customer service, food inspection, and bartending. From 2012 to 2016, Sandi worked at Flynn's Irish Bar as a Duty Manager, handling various responsibilities such as serving drinks, training new staff, and maintaining cleanliness. In 2014, they served as a Research Intern at James Cook University, gaining research experience. Sandi also served as a Financial Manager at JCU Motorsports Club in 2012, showcasing their financial management skills. Sandi briefly worked as a Bartender at Zizzi's Italian Bar & Grill in 2015, focusing on wine and cocktails. In 2016, Sandi worked as a Beta Tester at Boosted Boards, contributing to product testing. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Marketing Associate at SF Shock/NRG esports, where they assisted in enhancing brand ambassador programs and designing proposals for improving fan interaction and engagement. Sandi also worked at Bridges Rock Gym as a Belay Staff in early 2019. Most recently, they held a role as a Software Engineer at Atrium from 2019 to 2020, and currently works as a Software Engineer at Gem since April 2020.

Sandi Rail completed their high school education at Saint Margaret Mary's College from 2003 to 2007, obtaining a High School Certificate. In 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering at James Cook University, which they successfully completed in 2013. Sandi later attended App Academy in 2019 to further their knowledge in Software Engineering, though no degree was specified for this program.
