Nineke van der Beek has extensive experience in nursing, currently serving as the Chair of the Nursing Staff Governance at Gelre ziekenhuizen since December 2000. In this role, Nineke collaborates with nurses and the Nursing Faculty to establish a solid foundation for current and future care. Additionally, Nineke has experience as an Oncology Nurse, focusing on patient guidance and education regarding treatments. Previously, Nineke held leadership roles as Chair and Board Member of the Nursing Advisory Council, working to enhance the profession's voice in nursing policy development. Nineke's clinical expertise includes a broad range of surgical and medical fields, with educational credentials from various institutions, including a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a specialization in Oncology Nursing. Further education includes programs at Erasmus Centrum voor Zorgbestuur and Utrecht University.
