Abbey Pimentel, SPHR has extensive work experience in various human resources positions. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Employment Specialist at VCU Health System. In 2008, Abbey joined the City of Richmond, Virginia and served as a Human Resources Generalist and later as a Project Management Analyst. In 2017, they joined Tuckahoe Holdings, LLC where they held roles as a Human Resources Business Partner and Manager of HR and Organizational Effectiveness. Currently, they are the Director of People & Culture at Gelati Celesti. Overall, Abbey has a strong background in HR, project management, and organizational effectiveness.

Abbey Pimentel, SPHR, has a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Design and Visual Communications, as well as Marketing and Public Relations, at Peace College in 2003. Abbey also holds the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
