Acting Business Continuity Management Lead - Egypt Region at Geidea Solutions

Amr Ashraf has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Amr started their career at Schneider Electric as a Senior Student from July 2016 to July 2017. After that, they worked at Abaza Trailers Manufacturer as a Design Engineer from October 2018 to August 2019, where they focused on silo and tank trailer design and manufacturing, as well as parts and assembly creation using SolidWorks. Amr then joined LEONI as a Quality Control Engineer, first in the BMW BU from August 2019 to November 2020, and then in the System Applications BU from November 2020 to November 2021. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing quality control plans, having direct customer contact, creating automotive products PPAPs, and performing on-site full analysis using quality tools. Amr's most recent work experience is at geidea, where they have held several roles. Amr started as a Quality Control Engineer in November 2021, focusing on complying with geidea and Saudi central bank regulations, controlling and auditing operational processes, and analyzing results to ensure SLA and OLA compliance. Amr then transitioned to Acting Regional Business Continuity Management Lead (KSA - EGY) from April 2023 to July 2023, applying business continuity concepts, initiating BCM and Crisis Management Plans, and performing BCM tests. Currently, they are the Acting Business Continuity Management Lead - Egypt Region, where they continue to apply business continuity concepts, initiate BCM and Crisis Management Plans, and perform BCM tests.

Amr Ashraf completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Product Design at Ain Shams University from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's degree in English Language and Literature from AUC Department of Educational Studies between 2014 and 2016.
