Will Hartnell is a seasoned professional in the sports and events industry, currently serving as a Committee Member at Benefit Geelong since May 2024 and the Head of Commercial & Growth at Geelong Cats since May 2022. With previous experience as a Senior Account Director at Octagon, managing key clients such as Standard Chartered, QBE, ANZ, and Cisco, Will has demonstrated expertise in working with global teams to drive engagement through passion. Earlier roles included Senior Partnerships Manager at Kayo Sports, where relationships with AFL and Cricket Australia were managed, and Corporate Partnerships Manager at Carlton Football Club, leading growth in business development while managing major corporate client relationships. Will's career began as a Sponsorship Coordinator at Bastion EBA. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Management from Deakin University and attended The Geelong College.
