Owen Aslin is an experienced Forward Deployed Operations Engineer at Gecko Robotics since August 2024, following a tenure as a Solutions Engineer at Thread from July 2021 to August 2024, where engagement with global utility professionals focused on data management and preventive maintenance. Additionally, during time as a Test Pilot at Thread, Owen oversaw flight operations, including testing autonomous routines and evaluating UAS platforms. Owen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems from the University of North Dakota, completed in August 2021, and attended Washtenaw Community College from August 2016 to June 2017.
