Selin Baklacı currently serves as the Head of Production and Best Practice Manager Cer at Geberit since October 2020. Prior to this role, Baklacı worked at Duravit AG from January 2017 to October 2020, holding positions as an R&D Engineer and Chief in slip and glaze preparation, glazing, and firing. Baklacı's early career at the Ceramic Research Center A.Ş. included research focused on improving glaze surfaces for sanitaryware and exploring the use of humic acid and humates in production, as well as developing local clay sources for the sanitaryware industry in Turkey. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Eskişehir Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Anadolu University.
