Ewald Gattermayr has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the supply chain and mechanical engineering industries. Ewald currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management at Gebauer & Griller since July 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President of Purchasing at Megatech Industries AG from December 2016 to June 2018. From March 2013 to November 2016, Ewald was the CEO, COO, VP, and Managing Director at Automotive, Mechanical Engineering and Plant Engineering. Ewald also worked at Sandvik as the VP of Strategic Projects from May 2010 to February 2013. Before that, they were the CEO/COO at A-TEC Mechanical Engineering from January 2008 to December 2009. Ewald's career began at AT&S, where they served as the Director of Quality Management from January 2005 to December 2007.
Ewald Gattermayr has a diverse education history spanning several institutions. Starting in 1983, they attended the Technical College Mechanical Engineering in Linz, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree, completing their studies in 1988. Following this, from 1989 to 1999, they pursued their Master's degree in Material Science at Montanuniversität Leoben. In 1996 and 1997, Gattermayr also briefly studied at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, although the degree and field of study during this period are unspecified. Later, they pursued their MBA in Generic Management at Montanuniversität Leoben from 2000 to 2002. In 2006, Gattermayr further enhanced their management skills through the Advanced Executive Program at Kellogg University in Chicago.
