Giorgio Piazza is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the CIO and DT Separation Leader at GE Vernova since June 2022. Prior to this role, Giorgio held multiple positions at GE Renewable Energy from September 2017 to May 2022, including CIO of Grid Solutions and Chief Technology Officer for Hydro. Giorgio's career at GE began in November 2003, where various roles were undertaken within GE Oil & Gas, including CIO of Subsea Systems & Drilling and overseeing global ERP. Giorgio holds an Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
