Christof Sihler serves as the Technology Director at GE Vernova since April 2024 and has held the same title at GE Power Conversion since August 2014, where responsibilities include developing and delivering advanced medium voltage drive, control, and system technologies for specialized sectors. Previous roles at GE Power Conversion include Engineering Quality Leader and Engineering Leader, focusing on engineering risk management, customer quality issue resolution, and driving the electric transformation of energy infrastructure. Sihler's earlier experience at GE Global Research involved leading high power electronics R&D, and prior positions at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology included significant contributions to the development of power supplies for large experiments. Sihler holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
