VP - Digital Technology - Chief Digital Officer at GE Appliances

Mandar Deo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mandar began their career in 1998 as an Assistant Manager Audit at G. D. Apte & Co. Chartered Accountants, where they conducted various audits for large and medium public/private companies, banks, and trusts.

In 2000, they transitioned to the role of Financial Consultant at Iridium India Telecom Ltd. and later at GE Healthcare, where they provided financial consulting services. Mandar then joined Satyam Computers Services Ltd. as an ERP Associate in 2001, focusing on ERP implementation.

Mandar joined GE Healthcare again in 2002 as an ERP Consultant, where they continued their work in ERP implementation. In 2003, they moved to GE as a Project Manager - ERP, overseeing ERP projects until 2010. Mandar then became a Senior Project Manager and eventually a Program Manager, responsible for ERP, supply chain management, and finance.

From 2013 to 2016, Mandar served as the ERP+ IT Finance Track Leader at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where they were responsible for the company's ERP system strategy and establishing finance IT practices. Mandar then took on various roles, including IT Director - GDC & Finance and Digital Technology Sr. Director, before becoming the Executive Director of Supply Chain Systems & ERP from 2021 to 2023. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Executive Director - DT Supply Chain, Finance & New Micro Enterprises until 2023.

Currently, Mandar is the Chief Digital Officer (Interim) at GE Appliances, a Haier company, starting in 2024. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in digital technology, supply chain management, finance, and ERP implementation.

Mandar Deo completed their education at the following institutions:

- From 1995 to 1998, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they earned a degree in Chartered Accountancy, with a focus on Accounting and Finance.

- Prior to that, from 1990 to 1995, they studied at Modern College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance.

- In 1989 and 1990, they attended Ramanbaug School, completing their 10th grade.
