Samuel Cavas is a Lead Aerodynamicist at GE Aerospace, with experience as a Propulsion Engineer and Associate Engineer at Innoveering, LLC, where expertise in aerodynamic analysis and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was developed. Cavas has contributed to the propulsion flow path development for supersonic and hypersonic vehicles and has taken on program management roles with a focus on systems engineering. Prior experience includes an internship at NASA Glenn Research Center, where Cavas directed testing for a hypersonic engine inlet design tool and developed software for performance analysis. Additional early experience includes teaching SAT Math for underprivileged youth and interning at Harris Corporation, where contributions were made to develop innovative braking systems and conduct product testing. Cavas holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
