Salwa Syed is currently a Software Developer at GE Aerospace, having started in September 2024, and previously held the same title at the company from January 2024 to April 2024. With extensive experience in youth engagement, Salwa has worked as a Youth Counselor at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati since October 2016, mentoring second graders and creating educational programs, and has also served as the Girls Basketball Coordinator, coaching various grade divisions. As President of the Muslim Youth of North America from September 2020 to September 2024, Salwa managed a national executive board and coordinated regional camps for youth across the country. Academic pursuits include studies at the University of Cincinnati in the College of Engineering and Applied Science, which began in 2022, following graduation from William Mason High School in May 2022.
