Paul Abfalter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy and revenue generation in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Chief Strategy & Revenue Officer at GCX since August 2024, Paul previously held several key leadership positions at Telstra from January 2008 to August 2024. Notably, Paul was the Head of Global Wholesale & North Asia, overseeing Telstra’s largest international territory and global wholesale business. Additionally, as Director of OTT and Emerging Markets, Paul managed the company's largest growing segments, significantly increasing revenue from the China market. Their tenure also included leading the integration of the historic Pacnet acquisition and serving as General Counsel for Telstra International, where Paul managed a large legal and regulatory team. Paul holds an Advanced Management Program certificate from The Wharton School and degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Adelaide.
