Ivan Whelan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Global QA/RA Leader at GCE Group since March 2022, Ivan has held various prominent positions including Senior QA Audit Consultant at Trinzo and Managing Director at Meddev Solutions. Previous roles include Head of Quality at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies and Head of 13485 Assessment Delivery at BSI. With a solid educational background including a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biosciences from the University of Ulster and certifications in ISO13485, Ivan possesses a comprehensive understanding of quality systems, supplier auditing, and compliance management across multiple international standards.
