Jeismyl Poja, CPA, currently serves as an Audit Senior at the General Conference Auditing Service (GCAS) since May 2022, after initially holding the position of Audit Staff within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Tax Associate at Valley Oak Financial, PLC, where responsibilities involved preparing US Federal and State Individual Income Tax Returns, identifying and addressing various tax issues, and utilizing UltraTax CS Thomson Reuters tax software. Jeismyl also gained valuable experience as a Tax & Accounting Intern at Western Michigan University, while contributing as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Business Information Systems, and previously worked at Deloitte as an Audit Associate, where internal controls were evaluated and audit procedures were performed. Jeismyl holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Adventist University of the Philippines.
