Syed Sarmad currently serves as the Group Financial Reporting Lead at GC Aesthetics, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Syed worked as a Finance Manager at ION from September 2022 to April 2024 and held various roles at KPMG Ireland from December 2018 to September 2022, including Audit Associate Director, Audit Manager, and Audit Senior. Early career experiences include the role of Supervisory Senior at KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., Senior Associate at KPMG Lower Gulf, and Consulting Associate at A.F. Ferguson & Co (PwC Pakistan). Throughout this career, notable achievements include leading audit engagements for Standard Chartered Bank in Pakistan and being involved in various significant audit projects for clients in the aviation and banking sectors. Syed's educational background includes qualifications in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sindh.
