Makiko Barrett, GTP, is an experienced procurement professional with a strong focus on travel resources. Currently serving as the Procurement Manager for Travel Resources at TikTok, Makiko has held various leadership roles within the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) for Silicon Valley, including Chairperson, President, and Vice President. Previous positions include Senior Director of Global Procurement & Travel at Automation Anywhere, Director of Global Travel at Yahoo, and Global Travel Manager at Broadcom Inc. Makiko holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington and has also studied at Aoyama Gakuin University.
