Greg Wilson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience across multiple roles in the technology and research sectors. Currently, as Head of Engineering Services APAC at GBG Plc since February 2019, Greg drives the strategic direction and consistency of infrastructure and delivery platforms for products in the APAC region. Previously, Greg served as Chief Engineer at greenID, leading software development and infrastructure teams while migrating services to a cloud-based platform. Greg's background includes a role as Lead Engineer at VIX Verify, where responsibilities encompassed technical design and implementation of scalable SaaS services globally. Earlier positions include Senior Developer at Edentiti, Scientific Programmer at the Australian National University, and Telescope Assistant, reflecting a strong foundation in software development, system architecture, and scientific programming. Greg holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics and a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Mathematics from The Australian National University.
