Jan has over 20 years’ experience in the marine and energy industries, where he worked for Chevron, Tycom (now Subcom), an international development bank and with start-ups.

He was responsible for a $500 million budget for an offshore gas-to-power project, and has a keen interest in major capital projects, governance (decision quality), and energy equity.

Jan is an international citizen, having lived and worked in Scotland/England, Guyana, Denmark, the US, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Jan has a Doctorate from Oxford University in offshore geotechnical engineering and a Bachelor’s from Edinburgh University in civil engineering.
